That’s pretty heavy. My pc has 4Gb RAM and on Ubuntu it was using 1.6GB. That’s almost half the RAM! Hardly light.

I switched to Linux Mint and then to LMDE 6 and it uses 1GB. A little heavier than I’d like but still better than 1.6 or 1.8….

Gnome needs to go on a diet….☺️
