Yes, but double clicking results in no popup to enter the Password…
Also earlier version did not have this problem.

With UM 39 Budgie, I am unable to activate my wireless network connection at all in Live USB mode. I have a Ventoy based 32 GB thumbdrive that i have multiple distribs.

Till UM 39, the only distrib that was initially problematic but I was able to resolve by manually pointing to my home router was HelloBSD 0.8.0 about a year back. 0.8.2 gave the applet automatically.

UM39 identifies my networks but when I try to connect, it is not giving me the popup where I can enter my password. The prior version of UM did not have this issue.

Any suggestions. Thanks…

In reply to Nibs Niven. You don't run Linux in memory. You install it on a hard drive (SSD etc.)How much disk space do you have? 16 Gb of RAM is more than enough.

I was thinking of trying out Linux, but I only have 16GB memory. 945GB just to run the GNOME desktop is out of my price range. It must be a really powerful piece of software to need all that memory though, am I right?
