Hi. Thanks. We had a note earlier for this phone. However, we removed all the links to the product and all texts. Thank you.

I paid them for a phone (via indegogo) over 2 years ago and have still not received it and I am sure never will, just like hundreds of other customers.

STOP PROMOTING SCAMS

Purism is an empty shell backed by years of cheap marketing, talk and blatant lies.

What drew my attention to SageTea was its strong support for open-source software. Users can inspect the source code, make improvements, and even improve the software.

If you appreciate the notion of a Linux phone that prioritizes privacy and open-source software, you should look into SageTea’s XFone.

I have spent over a month weeding through the software on my Android Galaxy. My last phone had been an Apple and it was pretty much ruined by a jerk with spyware Threatening me and locking me out of bank accounts. I wanted to better understand my new andriod phone to ensure the nightmare never happens again… Unfortunately, the deeper I looked into Android the more creepy and less secure I felt.. It is intertwined with Google, Amazon and other spyware. Even credible reports of possible Chinese intrusions.. Not only was my andriod keylogging, taking fingerprints with the biometrics etc but it is also impossible to turn off or remove…
Not only that but my phone was constantly collecting data from any other device within my Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity and vice versa…
I felt so overwhelmed exposed and deafeted..
I will buy a Librem 5 or Pinephone Pro Even if I cannot afford it.. If nothing else at least I support a good cause and I feel secure and safe.

you didn’t bother to research did you, the “theoretical” emulator you speak of already exists and it’s not even new. Most likely some if not all of these devices support anbox & waydroid. Phones these days are so powerful that most of the time the performance would suffice, considering high specs phones are normally wasting the high specs when running non-game apps.

Check in the official website (link above) whether they ship these to your country. If it’s available to your country then normal mobile carrier SIMs (such as 4G) should work. These comes with SIM slots.

No. There’s a theoretical chance that you could get an Andriod emulator or some sort of framework to do so, this would use up so many computational resources and run so slow as to be useless. Take a look at the linux ecosystem. It’s richer than Android’s! But if you need a specific Android app, stay away from Linux phones.
