I forgot this. For them using vpn it’s suspicious! And me all these years I thought it’s about security-protection. Always when I join a new place I use vpn and pling proved me right. Who knows what these scams would do if they had my ip. And just in case whenever I will speak of the issue on the web I will use vpn because I know gangs always have many friends.

linux users are not groupies of elvis. Of course there will be a few one shots users but not so many. The following are fake accounts used by eliverlara and pling. If you doubt check them. These are the normal users and me that I went there to upload original stuff and be active I’m the spammer!

Pling and all the platform it’s a deserted place concerning feedback. Therefor some users from the ones who upload stuff took the situation in their hands and started making fake accounts to generate fake comments-rating-feedback. Some others realized and they answered with other fake accounts. In the end it resulted to be a competition of fake accounts. Even the discussions there are directed, fake. However most of these fake accounts do not really get into discussions. They are one shot accounts that go there to give a few or just one comment-rating and disappear. And this is considered normal by the administrators of the site! And some of these product creators who make the fake accounts are so greedy that they cannot even stand negative critiques and rating. So they report users for spamming or fake accounts because they low rate their products. And the administrators who do not want anyone to break their money machine they ban these users!
Meanwhile do not forget that their stuff it’s free and you can download without joining. When you finally join you can comment-rate many things you have downloaded before instantly and after all there is stuff like the wallpapers that you do not need to try before rating. However if you do it you get banned as a spammer!

I made an account there on May to upload original art as wallpaper. I was banned because I lowrated eliverlara’s theme. He reported me on the forum and they banned me and removed my ratings and my original art. I had uploaded about ten different abstract wallpapers. Original and not similar or steps by the same session. It seems they did not appreciate this at all. I made another account to complain on their forum and I realized that there were at least two cases like mine before I had even joined. According to them we were all the same person with fake accounts! AND THEY EDITED MY COMMENTS CUTTING OUT PARTS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THIS!
And their arguments ridiculus to the bone. Weird-similar nicknames, email vendors they do not like because they are not validated with phone, 10 ratings in half and hour it’s a lot so it’s spam. Ridiculus arguments!!!
Linux is about freedom. PLING IS FASCISM. This is a digital dictatorship! I can use whatever nickname I want, whatever email I want and rate as I want. And you cannot change the rules and judge me guilty for what “did” before theese new rules existed. When I joined the damned site myt mail was accepted and validated. You cannot come after and say that this mail vendor is not accepted so Now I ban you. If it was in pling’s hands theneach time you download a distro iso you should give them your phone number.

When you upload ten pieces of origianal art and you are banned like this and for this ridiculus reasons it’s too much so that’s why I investidated. Less or more for all the popular creators there it applies what I said above. I’m not here to attack all of them. They do what they do because the site allows it but no one attacks you if you lowrate his products. But the creator of nordic eliverlara attacked me and site obeyed as a slave and banned me.

Pling site does not function properly. They cannot really control the site. So in order to show power and to hide this they do ridiculous things. You head is in pain? Ok, let’s cut this head and get rid of pain! Or let’s spread chaos but this chaos never touches certain creators. So it’s not really chaos. It’s something else. This site it’s a mask. What’s hidden behind?

They are doing much more than what you said eleftheros. They are much more aggressive. They ban users and remove their ratings on themes products that “threat” their puppet kings so that on the top it’s always what they want. They also enhance these themes with fake downloads, It’s obvious that a gang wants to take all the donation money or it can be something even bigger. Maybe pling it’s a machine to clean dirty money. They ban you if you have a weird nickname, they ban you if when you join you rate 10-15 products like this is weird. But their stuff it’s free to download without joining. Most linux users have used themes or apps or wallpapers they have there without being members. When you join of course you can rate instantly many of their products-apps-themes-wallpapers there.
By the way after these comments here they cleaned at a night all competition on the xfce category. They banned users and removed ratings on themes that could go to the first page of rating and leave behind all these erroneous and unworthy to be on the top themes. Themes of the same author. The same applies to the general gtk category with another golden boy of theirs, the author of nordic. On the kde category the ratio views/downloads is 1/10 and their answer that this is a bug of the kde center that cannot count correctly the views! [But if this is true then they can cook numbers any way they want!] And with such ridiculous excuses the donations money are shared only by a few people or as I said before maybe they clean dirty money. They generate downloads and donations and they take care that the ones who get this non existent donations-money it’s their golden boys-authors. That’s why certain people who belong to the gang must always be on the top.

You cannot suggest as good and top themes themes that break functionality! It’s not just PRO-Dark-XFCE-Edition that has the problem with search but also Prof-XFCE-theme, McOS-XFCE-Edition and MC-OS MJV XFCE-Edition II. This is a critical feature. As for Nordic when you touch things on the xfce panel cpu usage goes up. Probably both Klok Bomber and unlisted are right as it depends on what someone has on the panel.
Unfortunately pling it’s the only site we have but do not trust it concerning popularity. When you go there if you lowrate their favorite kids they ban you.

I tested on MX Linux 21 and Mint-Xubuntu 20. nordic on idle uses 6-10% cpu and also load graphics card usage. With other themes on idle cpu usage is 1-2% and there is no graphics load. It’s still a lot for xfce which targets targets low resources systems and unlike what modern tests suggest it’s not just about the ram.
However 6-10% it’s far from your 15-20%. Maybe some hardware driver already puts load on your system. What’s your cpu usage with other themes?
In any case there is a problem with these two themes and you are not the first one reporting them. I have read such complaints from others also.
