Record Desktop with Audio in Linux Using Kazam

Kazam is a very simple and useful tool which can be used to record desktop in Ubuntu including audio.

There are other similar apps as well in Linux, but there are very few tools available which actually simple to use and can perform this simple task without trouble. Kazam is one of them.

Two modes are available – Record Screen i.e. screencast and screenshot mode.

How to Install

Ubuntu, Mint, elementary, Debian

To install Kazam in Ubuntu using terminal run below commands in sequence. Enter password when prompted.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kazam-team/stable-series
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kazam

Run

Type Kazam in dash in Ubuntu. Click the launcher icon.
