The kde
plasma and gnome iso images are only provided in a 64 bit version

The 32 bit classic installer or net installer can be used to install either kde plama
or gnome from the online repositories, but that is not recommended for 32 bit
systems.

While the classical installer iso images have desktop envronments other then the above three, there are even more desktop environments available from the online
repositories.

Thx for a nice review. Innotice something odd:
“Mageia uses “dnf” (v4.14.0) as the default package manager and provides the RPMdrake application to manage and install applications software.”
DNF is alternative not default which is still Mageia Control Center in GUI or urpmi in CLI.
